We have four holiday flats at the moment. The flat "Wald" (forest) and "Zinsbachtal" (a valley close to us) in the farmhouse and “Apfelbluete” (Appleblossom) and “Himmelsblick” (Skyview) in our new guesthouse “Hasengrund

Our comfortable holiday flats were completely reconstructed in winter 1998/1999 and the holiday flats are yearly renovated. They are modern and comfortable furnished with furnish made out of regional wood. We use environmentally conscious modern technique:

• Solar heater -to heat the water 
• Rainwater -for the  toilet flush
• Wood stove to heat the house -with wood from our own forests
• Very good isolation against heat and cold
• powerful sound insulation for absolute calmness in your flat
• new double-glassed-windows

The flat “Zinsbachtal” and “Wald” are both approximatelly 65 sqm big and each  has 2 bedrooms, one of bedroom is on the second floor and it is for the kids. There is a stair to the second floor which is at the top and bottom secured with a children-safe door.

The left picture shows the first floor of the flat "Zinsbachtal", the right picture shows the first and top floor of the flat "Wald".

The living-dining room and the kitchen are amply designed. With a homelike sitting room suit, books, toys for the kids and SAT-TV .

In the kitchen is a fridge, a cooker, a sink unit, an oven, a coffee-machine and a toaster. There are enough dishes, cutlery and pots in each holiday flat.

There is a nice shower bath with a deep shower tub, in which the kids can take a bath. We also have games in the flats for nice family-evenings

The whole flat is  equipped with floor tiles and linoleum, so it is perfect for allergy suffers. We have special bedclothes for allergy suffers. 

Smoking is not allowed in the flats!

Flat “Apfelbluete”

This flat got awarded with 5 stars by the independent German-Guest-Flat-Association (DLG). This means the flat is very comfortable and highly quality furnished.

This flat is 90 sqm bis and als an additional terrace with 15 sqm. This flat is perfectly made for allergy sufferers and handicapped persons.

This picture shows the Kitchen and the dine area. The living room has a nice couch and lots of room.

The beds are very comfy and have very good mattresses.

The bathroom- it is perfectly made for handicapped persons

This flat has 3 Bedrooms, a huge living-dine and kitchen area and the bathroom is suitable for handicapped persons. There are no stairs; the main door and Terrace have level access.

Details:

The Bathroom has to washbowls, on is lower so that kids can reach it. The shower is ground levelled and a wheelchair can be used in it. Also has the Bathroom a huge window so fresh air can get in.

The doors to the Bathroom and one Bedroom are extra wide so a wheelchair can get through.

There are 3 Bedrooms, one for parents with a double bed, one Bedroom with two single beds and one with one single bed. If you need a baby bed or a baby change unit we can put one into your flat!

The kitchen is completely furnished with a ceran stove, oven, microwave, dish washer, coffee machine, toaster, fridge, freezer, lots of dishes...

The door to the terrace is just between the dine and living area, the windows give a perfect view over the playground so you can see your kids, even when you are inside!

The terrace is furnished with chairs and a table.

The living area is furnished with a huge couch and armchairs and a TV.

The floors are allergy sufferer-friendly.

This flat got its name ``Apfelbluete`` (Apple blossom) because there are apple trees grow  just outside of the windows.

We furnished this flat so that persons with special needs have everything they need-

There is a fixed chair in the shower (height: 50 cm), a handrail in the shower (Height: 88cm) and a shower curtain, so there are no barriers in the bathroom.

There are also handrails next to the WC, the WC is longer than usual so that a wheelchair can easily have access to it. The height of the WC can be stretched to 73 cm.

A wheelchair can drive under the washbowls. They have a height of 79 cm.

In the second Bathroom are two beds which can be arranged in their height to the special needs. The lowest level of the mattress is 58 cm, the highest 65 cm. We do have railings which can be installed at the beds to prevent kids from falling out.
